  1. Would you be willing to sell just the Upper Handguard and Upper gas tube?
  2. Keep this comment coming. I'm keeping a log. We just got our 5.45 Saiga on order and will work on that conversion first.
  3. What would be a better round to suppress? the 5.45 or the 7.62. From what I could gather online it seems that 7.62 is the more popular round to suppress. I hope to keep this as a log for future users looking to suppress a Saiga.
  4. Hello All, I was talking to my gunsmith today to plan our next build. I'm looking to do a Saiga 5.45 conversion and also suppress it. I wanted to get the suppressor permanently suppressed and he suggested doing it on a Draco to minimize the overall barrel length. I, on the other hand, wanted to keep everything Russian. So we were talking about cutting the barrel off right in front of the gas tube. Could you guys steer me the right way in terms of suppressed 5.45. My gunsmith suggested a 7.62 suppressed would not be too quiet and that a 5.45 would be quieter and possibly more effective.
  5. just found a gunsmith, out goes the unconverted saiga. onto the next one...
  6. I just want the unconverted ones for the sake of having an all original all Russian piece.
  7. How many Saiga's are enough? I told my brother and co-workers I wanted 3 Saiga's at least. 1 stock imported sportier form, 1 stock imported with the thumbhole stock unconverted, and 1 Saiga 12K converted to be as accurate as possible. They all told me I was stupid, my brother said I have a disease. How many Saiga's do you all have? How many Saiga's is enough?
  8. I have a GP WASR 10/63. It is a great rifle and my first AK. As others have mentioned, it goes bang every time. The magazine locks up tight with little to no wiggle. It eats any ammo that I feed it. It extracts, ejects, and fires perfectly. I've since added some ATI Strikeforce Stock set on it. I haven't had any magazines not fit. Mine has all the original Romanian stamping marks.
  9. I just bought one local and it had the side rail on it. Mine was made or imported 12-12-11
  10. I want to have one unconverted just to retain all the true nature of the pure Russian parts, and another converted Saiga 12K.
  11. check out this one. this is the best clone i have seen. http://www.coldsteel.com/spshovel.html
