  1. Worked out a mag trade with "the dude." Everything went as it should. Great commo, fast shipping, goods received were as described. Thanks!

  2. what is the best type moly for s12? can the dry bullet lube be used or should it be greasy? also curious about treating the firing pin with moly (work it in/ wipe it off?) cuz every time i use oil it gets gunked. any moly lubing tips would be much appreciated. thanks in advance!!
  3. hi guys, how do i give someone i bought something from +1 rep?? also, is there a bad guy list i should know about?? thanks in advance. i am thinking of buying a s12 from wjm anyone do buissiness with him??
  4. that is a halo extended quad with carbon fiber finish.i have one for sale for 300 plus shipping or poss trades. pics coming today!!!
  5. BIN is what i would be tossing new s12,s into if they were still 300 bucks.
  6. thanks for all the great ideas and thoughts, keep em comin!!!!
  7. those shrouds are COOL (pun intended) as hell
  8. what i was actually thinking of was running magwell for new steel mags and still be able to run all of my un modified md surefire and agp stuff with minimal delay in between(I have lots of old style mags!!) studs and nuts would be ok, but it would be only slightly faster than using a hex key and there would still be the... OOPS where did that f'ing screw go!!! factor during changes occuring out doors in snow/tall grass etc. keeping swap out time under 5 seconds with no little parts to misplace is the main attraction for me. a set up like this would make me comfortable with having only 5 or 6
  9. on that same subject what about a magwell that just rocked and locked into the gun like a regular mag???? probably be some space issues there but i am sure one of you geniuses could figure it out... i would pay just about any price for a magwell that came off and on without tools to allow ultimate mag/drum flexibility... what do you guys think
  10. what do you guys think about the feasability of a quick detatch ( A.R.M.S. style) magwell? could this be done? would it be solid enough? i was thinking studs and holes for allignment and quick detatch lever to snug it up. i am no machinist but this seems like it might just work. imagine being able to go from magwell to drum in about 3 seconds..... i am getting wood just thinking about it. if the mag release was part of the magwell, then the magwell could even be left attatched to a mag while running drum. just a thought.......... feedback?????
  11. will the magwell be designed for quick removal for use of drums?? will reciever need to be modded in any way (will it still accept rock and locks with well removed???) I know this is probably not feasable from cost standpoint, but an A>R>M>S> style lever detatch magwell would be the f'ing shit.im anxiously awaiting porky pine and quad rail... should be in my mailbox in a few weeks!!! i cant wait!! keep up the good work man
  12. i had two gen 1 mags that the followers would get stuck in the mag body and the bolt would always outrun the mag. if you look close at cobras pics you will see the gen 1's have this sloppy seam on the follower from the mold. the gen 2's have been polished smooth. i polished the seams smooth and de burred the little oval shaped protrusions on the side of follower with a foam nail file, applied graphite and BAM flawless running mags. i can see how the shorter follower hight would help prevent binding, however i found this extra cutting to be un-neccesary in my case. i did this mod to 2 mags in 1
  13. thanks a million guys. so busy worrying about thread orientation that locktite didnt even cross my mind. duh.....
  14. i wasnt aware that the russian mags came in two sizes...im leaning towards 3" but let me check. i would take 30 bucks plus shipping. i will update with size this weekend when i get home.
