    sight rib?

I just bought a saiga 109 and I was wondering how you guys get ribs on em? I saw one at the store that had a fixed choke and a LONG barrel with the rib on in, any help or links where I could get one would be great... thanks for the help guys!
  2. alright, yea I know several FFL guys that can order for me. was there anything wrong with the old EAA guns... my 20 works great, after a few mods... my boss has a 2000 S12 that works better than my 20... 2001 i think. I've seen the FBMG website, shipping time fairly quick?
  3. I've been away from this forum for a while, are saigas finally being imported again? From spending the afternoon reading up on some posts, it apears they are now available. Where would you suggest ordering from? I've got to have a BHO on mine! I have an S20 but now i want a 12 aswell
  4. Is RAA still planning on coming thru... I had an offer for my saiga 20 and the four 70mm magazines I have for it... $300 and I'd like to sell is as long as I know I can get a 12ga in the future.
  5. The "Full" choke in a saiga is EXTREMELY tight as compared to other manufactures' "full choke" I put a micrometer in my barrel which is labled as "full" and it turned out to be about .035" restriction. I believe that almost twice the choke of most 20ga full. I opened my choke up to about .011" and that translates to a light mod. Any gun smith would most likely have the tool for reeming out your choke, and is very simple to do. I would guess it wouldn't cost you more than $20 to have it done. Would also improve your acuracy as well. I would imagine a choke of .005" would be ideal for slu
  6. EEA to dealer cost was $167 Retail from a dealer usually $200
  7. YOU DO NOT want to have any remnants of oil in your gas system. It should be completely clean and DRY. Any oil left in there is a magnet to powder residue. (also will smoke terribly as stated) causing your gun to need another gas sytem cleaning much earlier than if it were dry. Run a patch thru with some gun scrubber or other solvent and then 2 more clean dry patches through it. I did like the dental pick idea though

  9. Ok, I've played your version of "wipe your eye" I guess where I shoot they just call it "partned protection" sometimes we call it the "pea game" because we have numbered peas we dray from a hat to decide who the partners are.
  10. Well, obviously no one ahs answered the question at hand... "how much does a 5rnd mag go for?" I'm not sure what they are, but I was at a gun show and a guy had 4 saiga clips but no gun. I offered him $25 and he said he needed at least $30... as I started to walk away he gave into my offer of $25.
  11. I play annie oakley quite often, but those other games, I've never heard of them, could you please tell me how to play and, well pretty much everything I need to know to get the guys I shoot with to try them???
  12. I have $2500 in vested in my trap gun. SKB 85TSS and I would never attempt to outshoot it with my saiga. There are just so many variables that can't be fixed with the saiga. For example the barrell length and weight is very important to how the gun swings. I light gun such as the saiga can cause misses on the trap range. For skeet however, The saiga would probably have more potential. As what I have planned for it. I just did my first mod to my S-20. The factory constriction was 39 thousanths... the TIGHTEST I have EVER seen on a 20ga. I opened it up to about 9 thousandths. I think
  13. The flurry is a team of 4 people all shooting as fast as they can to break as many of the 200 targets thrown as possible. Last year we took 2nd with a break of 161 I believe... First was 179 and 3rd was 160. with about 8 other teams not placing. No individual scores in this event. It is the same setup as "five stand" if anyone has ever played that and each of the throwers is continuously throwing a bird. Its a pretty crazy and disorgainzed fast paced game... either you need to be a good shot, or load damn fast. I'm trying to do both. I have an 870 that holds 10 shells, kinda debating
