  4. I have used the federal power shok and have gotten 1-1.5 MOA at 100 yards in my sgl 21. Pretty easy to get a hold of and shoots well. I have not shot the hornady though Jason

  7. I kinda like this idea. I have a sgl 21 however I was looking into a 308 saiga. How is the accuracy of these. I have been getting 1-1.5 MOA with my sgl using federal ammo.
  8. Hey All! I wanted to see what everyone opinion is regarding the mounting of a scope to an AK. I currently have the UTG side scope mount for my SGL 21. I am using a Weaver 2.5-7 Variable Power Scope on it and an shooting 1-1.5 MOA with Federal Ammo. Pretty stinking good for an AK IMHO. I am curious if the Beryl Mount which replaces the rear sight leaf and mounts to the rear receiver tang would be even more sturdy and/or solid than the UTG. I did not OPT for the K-Var one because it was 90 bucks for the same as the UTG. I plan on leaving the scope on the rifle so Irons isn't too much of a

  12. I have the Burris trs-25. Gret red dot. 2 MOA. Nutnfancy did a review on it on YouTube. I got mine from cabelas for 90 bones. Not sure if it is low enough to cowitness. I am plannin on gettin the James Yeager ak rail setup to find out. As for scopes. I have a weaver 2.5-7 variable power scope. I have this mounted on my arsenal sgl21. I love it. I was shooting 1-2 MOA at 100 yards. Very pleased. Hope this helps Jason

Hey guys....figured I'd share my results from going to the range recently Weapon: Arsenal SGL-21 with about 300 rounds previously through it Mods: UTG Scope Mount with a Weaver 2.5-7 Variable Power Scope I was shooting at 100 yards using Federal PowerShok 7.62x39 Soviet I was also using a bench rest to make it as solid as possible #1 and #2 are my grouping and the others are my dad shooting it I was usually getting 2 really solid shots and they one flyer. I think it is my cheek position on the stock. We will see Thanks Guys Jason

I saw this scope on some of Nutnfancy's video's on YouTube and he was claiming hits out to 200 yards. So I figured I'd go with it. Anyone else running scopes...if so what are you shooting at distance wise
  15. They said if I send them a disassembled saiga 12 Is would be in the 150 range. He told me I would work great on the saiga series due to all the metal on metal contact. I'm about to pull the trigger on this.
  16. Hey guys. I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with any of the professional firearm refinishing companies. I have duracoated many guns in the past however I don't find it to be very durable with regards toward scratches and chips. I have been looking into this coating called Black Ice. Blackicecoatings.com This is apparently a teflon coating that is extreamly durable and resistant to scratches.   22. Just wanted to see how big you can go with a 3 port gun. I have a proper 3 port gun that I want to enlarge the ports up. I was wondering how big I can go. I want the gun to eat anything. I have the gunfixr for it so i don't over gas the gun when I do shoot heavy stuff. Also should I bead blast it before or after I put it back together following the porting.
