  1. Might look at this.... GenII DogLeg Ordered mine last month. Supposed to get it second week or so in Jan. From everything I have seen, this should be a winner.
  2. I can personally vouch for accuracy. The one I have is way more accurate than I would have believed. My son and I were drilling small zombie squash and pumpkins at just over 100 yards off hand. I had hoped it would hold a group at 100 yards to a paper plate and it is exceptionally capable. At 50 yards it holds a very tight ragged hole group. I seriously want to form 1 this fella. Just payed for my Texas Armaments genII dogleg and can't wait to get a good "dot" mounted on top. In closing, I would not want to be within 100-300 yards of this particular draco loaded with some good ammo once SBR'd.
  3. I have some high speed footage of some sabots being shot through a smooth bore with a rifled choke. It appears that by the time the sabot reaches the rifled choke, it is moving too fast to engage the rifling properly. The lands just strip a layer of plastic away rather than impart any spin. The sabot separates properly but the projectiles pitch up and keyhole the target from only 3 feet.
  4. I train several dozen ATF agents a year (most have been agents for at least 10 years) and have talked 922r with almost all of them. Some claim 922r died with the lifting of the "Assault Rifle" ban.....Regardless, every single one of them have told me that there is absolutely no reason they or anyone else they know would ever consider stopping someone at a range to break a firearm down to check compliance. The only time it would be an issue is if you were already under investigation for something and they wanted to nail you on federal charges. Saying that, the law is the law and I see no reason
  5. I am just using the steel cased Ulyanovsk stuff. Have not had a chance to run it again but will try to this weekend after I try a few of these fixes. May just give Century a call first though. Thanks for all the help.
  6. Same problem here. Tried several mags as well. Will feed fine for a few rounds and jam. Shove the bolt forward and all is well for a couple more rounds. Last time the case would not extract and I ended up hammering (rubber mallet) bolt back. Had to run cleaning rod down barrel and tap case out. No odd-ball marks on case. I have stripped the bolt down completely and cleaned the extractor/spring/bolt. Lubed and reassembled. Checked bore and chamber and all looks great. Will try it again after I manually rack it a hundred time or so. For what it's worth, it is incredibly accurate when it run
  7. Can't really say with authority, but with the number of EOD techs getting out of the military it might be tough. There is going to be a surplus of techs eventually I am sure given the drawdown. But like I said, that is just my opinion as a retired EOD masterblaster who now teaches as the EOD school.
  8. Be nice to get an idea on their shipping charges and reliability. Not much on the net about them. May just email them for a quote on the Paradox" and the laser (Corsak-22).
