  1.

    Does it really matter?

Yep. I want to defeat lies with truth. Therefore, if I use something to bolster my argument, I need to be able to 1) know it is true 2) prove it to a skeptical but open audience.

Yeah- I was thinking about that thing with her husband. It surprises me that the anti- crowd hasn't vilified her for "letting down the side".

As reliable as I can find....

Leaked yesterday by Arizona radio host James T. Harris via an anonymous source, the above photo is of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords holding an AR-15 back in October 2010. The photo was taken during campaign season by an anonymous source who is of law enforcement — the purpose of the photo was to ‘toughen up’ Giffords’ image. The photo was well known in the Arizona law enforcement community but had remained publicly concealed until yesterday.

  2. I am a Tower Officer. The towers are assigned a Colt AR-15, a Remington 870P 12 ga., a Federal Laboratories 207-Z (or equivalent) Riot Gas Gun, and a S&W model 10 .38 spl. revolver.

No firearms are carried or allowed inside the walls.

  3. Further if the laser on the bodygaurd dies, you're screwed.

Why is that? The BG has great sights, and the "Insight Laser" pops right out after removing the slide assembly and one screw. Batteries are a quick change. The Insight Laser is covered by the same warranty as the rest of the gun, too.

  4. I don't know about the TCP. I did look at it and the angle of the trigger guard was not appealing to my eye.

I did a direct comparison to the LCP. I fell in love with the BG because of 1) it's hammer fired DAO, 2) thumb safety, 3) carry one in the pipe and the trigger can't be pulled with the safety on, 4) the built-in laser that I can actually reach with my finger, 5) drift adjustable sights with a serrated ramp front sight [that are actual sights instead of bumps], 6) automatic last round slide hold open, 7) disassembly lever [no tools needed like LCP].

    And lastly, it's a Smith & Wesson.

It was less than $400 OTD including tax.

The trigger is a long pull, but not as long as the LCP.
