  1. When I get mine, I'll most likely be replacing some parts just for my own benefit as well as doing some cosmetic changes, but it's just to make it a little more personalized.
  2. Very nice! I could see why you'd vote that way!
  3. Damn, hope I don't get a bad apple like that.
  4. I think Century arms has finaly put some pride in milling out the recievers. I had a Rommy RPK a few years ago with crazy mag wobble, the new WASR 10/63 I got had no mag wobble or canted front sights. The dimples are really just cosmetic. Well, I'm hoping to see some good ones this Saturday, it would really make my day, haha.
  5. I'm goint to the Saxet this weekend! Hoping for a few good deals.
  6. Psh! I plan to turn my superly non-canted Wasr-10 from an ugly duckling into the most beautiful swan you have ever laid your eyes on! It will most likely become a super skinny supermodel rifle that will live in Paris, France, all while ignoring me =[ Haha, but in all seriousness, I am going to be looking at the local gun show in the next three days! Wish me luck on some good hunting!
  7. Well folks, after seeing how worn down the disconnector was (to the point where if you pushed the slide back and pulled the trigger, it would discharge), I decided to fix that safety issue and lay that worry to rest. Here are the pics. The macro screwed up on the last shot, but you guys get what I was trying to show.
  8. No rush on the photos, but I would like to see it when you do manage to resolve your issues with photobucket. But that's awesome that you've turned what most people think is a POS into something that's decent!
  9. Wow! After watching that, I'd have to agree with you Classy, that's just amazing!
  10. Yeah, Nagels had the selection, but the prices and that staff were horrible!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes at how they were just dry firing these old WWII guns! I understand that some say modern weapons can be dry fired and blah blah blah, but it still hurts me to my soul to see it occur.
  11. Hey Al! I actually purchased my Saiga from the Powderhorn about two and a half weeks ago, only to find that the price was reduced by $50 last friday. I joked about getting a free mag or some kind of store credit and was told it was up to the manager who wasn't in at the moment. After thirty minutes of waiting to be helped, I was ignored instead and another customer who hadn't been in nearly as long was getting helped instead. It was unfortunate because I was hoping to establish a relationship with them. I do have to agree that all of their employees were relatively friendly, except for one
  12. I can't seem to find anything. All the places I've been to except for Don's Guns is absolutely terrible. I like Don's but it's a bit far from where I live. Anyone know where to go?
  13. But the LEO starrrrteeed iiiit... Nope. How do ya like my Fender gee-tar? I'd play that strat any day!
  14. So I suppose this one right here https://www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16352&cat=290&page=1 would be my best bet?
  15. Have you checked on gunbroker? Someone could be auctioning one off as well.
  16. My policy is to never sell or give away any gun that I own, just to acquire more and more and more.
  17. Lol at the circumcise, hahaha, but I do want to mount a bayonet, and if I'm gonna go through all that work, may as well replace the FSB altogether, because I do want to be able to mount the cleaning rod on it. I had a slant brake on mine and removed it to install a 24mm muzzle brake like the poster above (who has excellent photos, btw). There is absolutely no comparison in recoild reduction, the 24mm AK74 brake wins hands down. I could not even tell a noticeable difference in recoil with the slant brake. If you are looking for function do the entire block swap. If you want it more for
  18. Nope, I make an effort to carry my Taurus Tracker .45 ACP with a 6 inch barrel when I can. It's absolutely possible.
  19. Oh, he visited you too?? Man he gets around! Breaks my heart that our encounter was so short =[

  21. Oh, that makes more sense. From having read what he was saying, it was a bit difficult for me to make sense of it, but now I see what you're saying. So I guess the Bulg 74 FSB with some type of muzzle brake is the way to go after all. Has anyone actually restored a saiga with the conventional slanted muzzle brake, sort of like the wasr?
  22. No no! Listen to the Israeli sniper guy! Who somehow after two years instead of immediately decides to add his two cents! You don't need practice Patriot, don't be silly. I heard that stuff DOUBLES how long you can last in the sack as well
  23. So besides the option of getting the same FSB that re-model used, what are my other options? The threaded end just seems too big for my taste, or is that my only option? I'm also concerned by the possibility he mentioned of the bullet hitting on the way out.
  24. Alright, time to make this more interesting. Let's see some pics of those wasr's.
  25. Lol @ snip-iL, seems to me a quick way to catch some suckers.
