  1. I am also looking into the SGM quad rail. A friend of mine has Chaos on his gun and its sweet, but I don't like all the side rails. The SGM has at least a small portion without them that I can hold on to. So does anyone have any experience with this grip?
  2. Check to see what the hammer is hanging up on, and maybe smooth it out a little. I just did this same conversion and had similar results, except once I pushed down the bolt carrier everything slid into place.
  3. No not converted, dont have the cash, but I at least want to add a good stock & pistol grip on it for the time being. I had a Tapco Intrafuse stock and pistol grip on my gun until I converted it. I was very happy with it, but my a friend of mine bought my conversion parts in exchange for me converting his gun too. (A deal too good to pass up) So... if you're interested in it let me know, otherwise its going to get Ebayed.
  4. Very nice! Do you have to prep at all or do you just spray over the factory finish?
  5. I don't really care that much about bump firing. Its fun once in a while but other than that its a waste of ammo. It just bothers me that my gun struggles to do something now that it used to do just fine. I also would like to correct this isssue before it starts occurring during nornal firing.
  6. Broke up with my girlfriend, and 2 weeks later I end up with this. -Saiga 12 with 19" barrel from Gilbertsguns.com -Tapco Intrafuse stock and handguard -SGM Tactical 10rd magazine -Tac-47 gas plug So far, I'm happy with the trade
  7. Everything looks normal, the gun only has 150 rounds or so through it with maybe 10 magnum inch shells fired. I held the trigger down and pulled the hammer back, and it was securely caught by the disconnector. It seemed a little stiff though, I'm going to try a small amount of oil where the surfaces meet.
  8. The last time I tried to bump fire my Saiga, the hammer seemed to fall faster than the bolt so I ended up with a loaded chamber but the hammer was down. I have bump fired several magazines through it successfully, so this was a surprise to me. The gun is clean, and does not have any modifications to the trigger assembly or bolt. Any ideas?
  9. Alright, thanks for all the help!
  10. So the total needs to be 4 US made parts? I was wondering if there needed to be more because I have a pistol grip, telescoping stock, and a high capacity magazine.
  11. I know there are a lot of posts out about 922r compliance, but once I feel like I understand one, the next one just confuses me. I would just like to know if this setup is legal, or what I need to do to make it legal. Thank you for your time. -Saiga 12 with 19" threaded barrel -Tapco telescoping stock with pistol grip -Tapco handguard -Surefire 10rd magazine -PolyChoke Again, I'm sorry for being the new guy and asking a question I'm sure you have all answered before. Thank you for your time, Joe.
