  1. what competition are you in that measures groups of 3 rounds ?
  2. I would raise the rings to give at least 1/8th inch. even then I would be cautious the first few shots.
  3. I would say your crazier for using those rings. 1/32 is not going to be that much clearance when the scope flexes.
  4. Doesn't the twist rate determine the optimum size and weight of the round that can be stabilized?
  5. Either one is going to be ok. For me I can go with either trigger, just takes some practice getting used to it and setting it up properly. The two stage is nice because you can pull the slack and set it right on the edge easier, usually breaks really clean. Its not necessary, but it is nice to have. You can still accomplish the same thing with a single stage, but it can be a little more difficult when youre starting off. Once you get used to it, its just as nice. The trigger pulls are different but in the end you want a clean, consistent break from either trigger.
  6. if you dont already have your silencer you can pick one out that comes with a threaded adapter. I went with AAC 51T mount
  7. Only reason I went with the 308 was because of match grade 308 ammo. Neither rifle was really designed for sustained fire
  8. So hows that recrowning coming along
  9. Good luck with the Prvi. I tried it in mine and got nothing but failures to extract. Be sure and post your experience. Awesome job on the threading work btw. Let us know about blast, noise, and flash difference from stock. Thanks. +1 to Prvi sucking. Its not match quality by any means, but its cheap. I ran a few hundred rounds through my POF 308 and while I didnt have FTE/FTF problems, the accuracy wasnt any different from ball surplus.
  10. Wait a cotton picking minute, you're a liar... That or we have very different ways of measuring Group Size & MOA. 1.400" - .308" = 1.092" Group Size Or 1.400" - .308" = 1.092" / 1.047"(actual MOA) = 1.042" or 1 MOA You're correct..... for 100 yards... that's a 200 yard group. MOA @ 200 yards is 2.084. D'OH! Kind'a skipped right by the 200 yards... LOL. 1MOA @100yds = 1inch 1MOA @200yds = 2inches 1MOA @300yds = 3inches 1inch grouping at 200yds is 0.5MOA
