    Looking to replace the fsb on my iz340 with a ground down bayo lug. Also looking for a Russian gas block with lug to complete the 545 build.

    Finally got it to the indoor range but they only allow slugs. It cycled 2 3/4 IN 1 1/8 oz 1410 FPS Royal Star slugs on setting 4 of the DPH gas plug with the stock recoil spring. Still gotta get to the outdoor range to see if I can get it to cycle federal bulk pack. I was happy with the recoil reduction while shooting slugs. I still need to test out 3 inch slugs as well as a variety of other ammo.

    The hammer could be creating excessive drag, on the bolt carrier assembly, causing cycling issues.

    Lee from SOC said he would install Russian ak100 folders on a v-12 but that he would not install a vepr folder on a fixed stock vepr or saiga.

    I recommend factory springs. Break it in a bit. My stock v12 runs Winchester universal no problem.

    Any info on these things is appreciated. The rear trunnion is what im working on at the moment. Do I need to buy a bulgy 4.5 mm set up?
