After reading the news story about the Muzzie that killed all those people, he was using a shotgun and a pistol(they didnt name what type). I guess she just threw that story in the mix to cause sensationalism. Sometimes I really hate politicians.

Nice information. I carry a Ruger Vaquero .45 Long Colt as my carry piece just because it fits my body well and I like the way it shoots. Recoil is not all that bad at all. My girl(who is a real girlie girl) loves to shoot it. She said it has much less recoil than my 1911. I agree with learning to reload. That will save you a lot of time in the long run and you can be picky about bullet type and powder/etc.

00 Buck in the face should work pretty well. Other than that, I may just try and hide until I get close enough for my Louisville...

I'm sure you're sick of hearing this, but I'd take them both and shoot them and see which one you like better. They are both great pistols.

Let's see a pic! I'm picking up my Mossberg 500A tonight. Gonna get the M4 stock put on it and a heat shield attachment. They are nice, moderately cheap shotguns that have a lot of potential if you want to mod them up. Oh yeah..the home defense thing isn't too bad, either...

That's me. I love the gun as it fits my hands perfectly. It is very evenly balanced with an LLM. The only thing I see that is a drawback is the extra magazines are about 25-30 bucks. It is my primary carry piece and I dont leave home without it.

Want to sell or Trade for my Ruger Mini-14. I love this gun, but as I don't ever shoot it, she is going to waste. Good condition with only a few hundred rounds shot down range.
