  1. I have the 7.5" ACE Storck with the folding mechanism and I actually wish I had bought the 8.5" one instead. It's comfortable (have yet to shoot it as I just got the conversion done), but I wish I had a little more LOP.
  2. I hear you, but with the way the weather has been, my Saiga 12 is being delievered to me a week later than when it was originally scheduled for. Hopefully I'll be picking it up this evening!! But I agree, be patient, weather has slowed everything down and just backed up all of the shipments. It can happen this time of year.
  3. When? It was on January 24th... But I just looked and I guess they all are sold out. But I bought mine from a guy in South Dakota, gunbroker name is smbielger and he was excellent to work with and at the time he told me he had a ton of them. I'd send him a message on gunbroker and ask him when he thinks he may get more in stock. At least to me he was great working with and had no problems. But from what I can tell, he's out of stock on Saiga 12s, so I dunno. I didn't realize that they can run out so quickily!
  4. I just bought a Saiga 12 off of gunbroker for $515 shipped and I was mad at myself because I had found some for $500 shipped and it didn't take me too long to find those deals. Am I missing something?
  5. I believe that it's $3000 for the AR-15 and Saiga 12 masterkey combination, that's very reasonably priced IMO. Heck, they only charge $2500 for a silenced Saiga 12. I think you need to pay attention more before jumping to such quick conclusions.
  6. Second episode... How about another Saiga 12 build! Unbelievable! What a amesome show!
  7. Gotta love that the first project they have is with a Saiga 12! Can't wait to see how the suppressor works out!
  8. I appreciate all of the responses! But after reading what a lot of people have said, I am leaning towards using a drill, dremel and files to cut out the slot for the pistol grip nut and doing the most sturdy mount. Plus it'll save me some $ as I'll just re-use the trigger gaurd and drill out new holes and rivet it back into place. From what I've read, rivets seem to be the most authentic looking way to go and I already have a rivet tool kicking around for another project that I had worked on previously. It's amazing to me how many different variations there are just for how to attach the p
  9. @dbrunette First, I appreciate the response and want to ask how you are attaching this to the reciever, are you cutting out the reciever for the grip nut or are you using a trigger gaurd that can be screwed into place using the existing holes that are drilled out? @AZG Thanks for the template, will be invaluable if I decide to go that route! @bc5000 Thanks for the heads up on that and I will contact Cobra on that trigger gaurd.
  10. First, I just ordered a Saiga 12 not converted (hence why I just joined this great forum) and I am going to do the conversion myself and I have watched several videos on the conversion and for the most part, it looks pretty easy, just time consuming (well at least for me, I fully intend to take my time and do everything right). Anyway, I have spent some time reading through the forum and was surprised that no one has asked a question like this entirely... I am wondering what the BEST way to install a pistol grip on a Saiga 12, one that will be durable and that I can trust holding it by ju
