    I use a strap wrench and just twist it off.

    From the pic, it look like someone try to pull out the follower. My factory mag doesn't look like that.

    That's normal, all AKM, AK-74, RPK, RPK-74, AK-100 series, and PSL have those 4 vent hole.

    My 09 production 7.62x39 have the button, my .223 and 5.45x39 doesn't have the button.
