2001 S12 22" Full choke imported by EAA. 3 visible ports at .63. Opened up to .79

Mine doesnt fit either. Its definitely not for a 12. The slot for the bolt carrier is not cut back as far and the stamping is recessed at the bottom by about 1/16" .

The people that have ordered from there say they've received top covers, despite the description. Confirmed, I just received my order and it is indeed a top cover.

For those running the Autoplug, do you have to loctite your setting in place so it doesnt back out?

Will shortening the overall length of the op rod to fully seat into the carrier effect the function without any changes to the gas block or gas tube? Reason I ask, is that my 2001 built Saiga's operating rod is approx. 3.481" from the end of the carrier to the tip of the op rod with about 4 full threads showing. If I go to a heavy duty op rod and in order to screw it down flush leaves me under my factory length of 3.481" will this effect function?
