  1. I waffled on this for long enough and threw down the money tonight. I'm glad I could get in on the first run.
  2. You're absolutely right, I can't NOT get one of these. I'm ready to buy whenever you're ready to sell
  3. Since we're talking about the Tromix stock, does anyone know of a cheek pad I can get for it? If I was about an inch higher, I'd be happier looking through the EOTech.
  4. Forget the NLFD. When's someone gonna make a 20 round straight mag?
  5. Read this thread: (with pictures) http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=12646 I went down the same path you are going down. It kind of sucked at first, but it has a happy ending. Your story can have a happy ending too.
  6. Good question, but I don't know. Tony put them on while he had the gun.
  7. Stopped by the gun show yesterday and picked up a few accessories. I still lack the Surefire, but that's next on the list. Also, I'm in the market for a decent cheek mount. Epsylum, it looks like you said you weren't very happy with the yours. Do you have a better suggestion?
  8. I think you're absolutely right. I probably spent an hour last night trying to find the hidden button that would release the bolt while all my friends were telling me to just pull back the handle all the way. To make matters worse, there was no way in hell I was going to be able to get the top cover removed while the bolt was locked back and the spring was compressed. Finally, I noticed there was the tiniest little nub that I could grab with the pliers and I got the bolt free to close. After that, I took the top cover off and had a look at the mechanics and that's where I started notici
  9. ok, ok, ok. I cross-posted this from another forum where we have a ... different ... sense of humor. Besides, there are no Amish in Texas anyway, just Armadillos. I do have one question regarding the BHO, though. When the bolt is closed, I can press on the BHO tab and it springs right back down like it should. But when the bolt is open, it's almost as though something is rubbing against the BHO because I cannot release it without gripping it with needle-nose pliers and pulling it gently. Am I being clear? Does anyone know a fix for this? VVVV Yeah, we're going on Satu

You're getting me all fired up now. Tony dropped my Saiga in the mail on Friday so I should be getting it early this week. I can't wait to light up the gun range.
  11. My 8-round arrived Friday in the mail. Bamaboy was quick with the shipping and no surprises. He's a good guy.
  12. Luckily my Saiga was in Tony's capable hands when my HALO arrived.
