I have a vepr12 and I have had feeding issues since new. I have run about 50 rounds through it mostly #8 skeet shot all different brands. I have the factory 5rd mag and 2 sgm 12 round mags and they all jam. I get stovepipes I get failure to go in barrel gets hung up on feed lips. I have cleaned it and sprayed lube in it no help. The feed spring on the mags seems fine I dont notice any jamming. I have tried loading just a few shells into them or fully loading them and all the same result. It is completely stock no optics no brake.

I hate spreading rumors and furthering the panic after digging into it looks like it was an old article that someone dug back up and reposted. Sorry for the confusion. So it must just be lots of new vepr owners via the reduced prices. I got some from the store here I didnt know this site sold stuff.

Wow thanks to this deal all the hi cap mags are sold out at CSS. I was looking to pick up a few 10's or 12's to test out the vepr when it gets here later this week. (edited to not pass on rumors)

I have the same brake waiting for tools to tap the barrel so I can get mine installed.

I missed the cleaning rod and actually had classic send me new ones they messed up some extra magazines as well. Then I found them and mailed back the cleaning rods with the wrong magazines then kicked myself when I figured out the cleaning rod that came with the gun is super long and the ones they mailed me are the shorter ones that fit under the rifle.

All fixed now. I used a computer air duster held it upside down and sprayed the liquid all over the tap hit it with a punch then sprayed it again and this time the tap flew out the bottom. I was even able to reuse the broken end of the tap to fix the threads that the punch messed up and finish the tap. I ran the screw all the way down to make sure it went in smoothly then took it out and put the bullet guide and put some red locktite on the screw and tightened it up. Cycled the bolt a few times and it minorly rubs on the screw but closes everytime. Thanks everyone for the help an

I have joined the broken tap club. The only thing I can think is that I hit a shard at the bottom of the hole left by the drill. I was going extremely slow with a small tap handle using a ton of cutting oil and backing up every 1/8 of a turn or less. It snapped off flush on the top and just a nub is showing on the bottom. I already broke a punch off trying to punch the tap out. I am going to try freezing with a can of air then punching it again. or maybe freezing and trying to back it out by grabbing the bottom nub.

I am pretty sure mine was in the low 100's and one a friend bought in my batch was 130.
