  1. I signed up, just to respond to this ass-clown -> Saiga12fan, I bet the main reason you *claim* to own sooo many guns is cuz in real life, that big mouth of yours would get your in-bred, scrawny ass kicked. Take moment from surfing all that Asian tranny porn and look up the meaning of "community". Loser. LOL! Thatta way to take up for the new guy Mr. Wolf! Even if it has been 6 years... it is NEVER to late for justice...EVER.... SOLDIER ON! Unleash that righteous anger!
  2. It is always better to have the option than not. Fanatics like me will do anything to get the gun they want. Finding an out of state manufacturer wouldn't stop me for a minute
  3. I delt with a sheriff like that a few years back. There are a few workarounds though. The ATF will readily accept alternate signatures. If you live inside city limits, you can get the Chief of police to sign. And the State Trooper post commander is always an alternative too. Other alternatives include the Head District Attorney in your county's circuit, and any Superior Court Judge that is on your county's circuit. Of course, if you spend like $115 at nfafirearmstrust.com, you can print out a trust document, have it executed by a notary, and you don't have to have anyone sign at all
  4. Unless you remove the optics mount rail from the left side or the receiver, it will keep a left-folder from folding all the way shut...that is why most of them fold to the right. There may be some exceptions out there though. Just something to think about...
  5. I would consider joining and gathering information before starting a sensible plan. Better to make you builds right at the get go than to try and overcome a bad rap over a couple bad builds. There will be absolutely NO bad builds. If I didn't have confidence in my work, I would not be going to the expense of setting this business up I should have the free conversion in the hands of at least one member in a few weeks. Hopefully their kind review will put an end to all this silly skepticism
  6. - What is the issue with me joining the forum before the builds start? Have you ever even done any builds ? I ask because your posts ( all of them) make it sound like you haven't. Generally someone who is offering a service doesn't ask the question's or make the comments you're making. OK...this is stupid. I was referring to the fact that I cannot build for profit before the FFL is issued...I was not saying that I had never done a build before. Was that REALLY that confusing? If you would like to see what my work looks like, take a look at the photos on m

  8. So...where does this Saigadd character live? He can't get away with this! :/ This is the member I referred to in a recent post about 5.45x39 ammo and pistol builds on youtube. His member name is appropriate...SaigADD wants to ADD parts to the list. An ATF Agent Provacateur is in the house . Sounds like SaigaCHEKA should be handling this situation.

  10. Alright! Finally, a light at the end of the tunnel. LOL. I was starting to wonder if I had opened up a surf board shop in the middle of a desert! I am hoping that the quality of my conversions will be established when the recipient of the free conversion posts their review. Until then, I AM paying close attention to the advice given by skeptics such as Gunfan. I am leaning strongly towards offering the option to have the FCG holes riveted at no extra charge. Gunfan settled the question of whether it is doable...now I just need to make sure that I am happy with the way the rivet
  11. As you guys know, I am starting up a new business (and trying desperately to escape the the tire factory...lol). I am all set up, and waiting on my FFL to be issued. I want to get things off to a good start, and I think that having someone review my work would be very helpful. So, once the license is issued, I will offer one free conversion to one interested forum member. My only stipulation is that the member post a thread with a thorough review of the conversion after they receive it. It will probably be about 2 weeks before I receive the license (I hope). Anyone who is intereste
  12. Ok...so let's turn a negative into a positive. Since there has been such a stink about the FFL, I would like to announce its issuance with a gift. Once the license is issued, I will offer one free conversion to one interested forum member. My only stipulation is that the member post a thread with a thorough review of the conversion after they receive it. It will probably be about 2 weeks before I receive the license. Anyone who is interested...just visit saiga12conversions.com and click the "About/Contact L.F. Armory" link at the top of the page. There is an option under this l
  13. I don't see why you would. A "business license" is not even a thing in a lot of places, and the internet sure doesn't give a shit. It's perfectly legal to advertise FFL services for the future - actually delivering them without a license would be illegal. Help...in the most surprising of places...thanks for preventing a snowball Shandlanos.
  14. Goodness gracious man... - If you took the time to read the thread you would know that Gunfan was the one doing comparisons with JTE (he has a very high opinion of JTE). I actually asked him to AVOID making such comparisons...because I don't want any chance of animosity between the business members. It is my impression that the business members here try to help each other...not tear each other down. - AND....when Gunfan (not me...Gunfan) compared our price structures...I stated that our price structures, and the conversion package that we offer, is DIFFERENT, and SHOULDN'T be co
  15. Glad to hear you say so Gunfun! I was starting to think that you were against anything that wasn't welded...and I just don't think that welding (and the refinish work that goes with it) fits into my business model right now. I do agree with you that rivets are a nice touch. And originally, I had intended to use rivets on the trigger guard, but then I ABSOLUTELY fell in love with the CSS guard, and I don't believe that there would be any way to use rivets with it. Besides, the way that the CSS guard is designed, you don't see or notice the screws unless you are looking inside the gun its
  16. I want to avoid totally giving away my margins (you are really stripping me bare here Gunfun! LOL )...but suffice it to say that when you factor in all of the upgrade parts that I use in my conversion (don't forget the stock!), and shipping costs from multiple vendors, MY cost ends up being more than $200. I am not gouging anyone...I promise Now...of course, once I have developed relationships with vendors, and built up enough business, I will be able to get slightly better prices on parts, and reduce shipping costs as well. But I am not there yet, and probably won't be for some time.
  17. I know that you are just trying to help me get to a good start...but I really do feel that there are some differences between what JTE is offering and what I am offering. The parts are different, the method of ordering is different, etc...and I don't think that it is an accurate analysis to state that I am charging $300 more for the same service. JTE's price is labor only, mine isn't. It is not the same package. And I am afraid that you have made assumptions that I am not going to be doing a "finished job" conversion for my customers...I am. The FCG holes are plugged, the bottom of
  18. True that. Especially the sporter fcg holes. There are some really fancy dressed up bolt on s12's that command a premium but have either plugs or Allen head screws in place to fill them. As of right now...I am using nylon hole plugs for the FCG holes...heated and bent over on the inside so they won't work back out. The look like rivets from the outside of the gun.
  19. In time you might want to think about offering reliability services such as bolt and hammer profiles and also port work. I have previously chosen a gunsmith who has paid attention to finish details such as riveting the trigger guard, welding up the trigger holes, and refinishing with duracoat. Then you can move onto 100 series folder installs. I know previous members who have started profitable business model's doing just that. In fact, one is working on my 040 as we speak. But I think the real key here is expanding your client base by offering rifle conversions as well. Good luck, an
  20. The Blimpie restaurants were fun to open and fun to run...but after 2008 they turned into a complete money pit. It wouldn't surprise me if all the Blimpies dissappear withinn a few years

  22. Well. If you don't want the tri rail forend or vertical foregrip. I could probably knock $75 off of the price. I will have to replace your gas piston to keep you compliant.
  23. Good questions! 1) I am currently waiting on my FFL. I have about 2 weeks left to go most likely...and will of course not be taking payments on any orders until that is complete. HOWEVER. I have previously been an FFL holder (I owned a small...and short lived gun shop in Elberton Ga.) 2) That is my cell phone number on the site. I have had it for 10 years. I was the original owner of the Blimpie that you mentioned. I had two of them, along with 2 AT&T retail stores. Appearantly, one of the business directorys somehow ended up listing my cell as the restaurant contact number.
  24. Wow, so with a 10 round mag and an 8 round mag-I'm already illegal? Yes. A lot of folks run them on the factory configuration guns anyway. Most of them have no idea that it is illegal. But sticking anything that holds more than 5 rounds in an "imported" semi-auto shotgun automatically makes the gun contraband, and could get you in serious trouble. When you have the gun converted, enough russian parts are replaced with USA-made parts so that the ATF no longer considers the shotgun to be "imported".
