  1. I'm surprised it took this long for someone to bring up Rhodesia. I also love the White Power troll speaking like he's some sort of guerrilla freedom fighter, hero standing up to armies of evil. Oh, you can make dummy accounts! Color me amazed.
  2. the "I'm leaving the forum! Everyone look! I'm leaving the forum!" posts are so hilarious. At least pretend you're committing suicide like a proper internet try-hard
  3. The pattern is really bad, even at 10yrds so even if I lead them correctly I doubt enough pellets were hitting to kill them. Plenty of birds I shot at flinched, faltered, even hovered in place, but except maybe one that I thought I saw nose dive over the "NO OCCUPANCY" area none dropped. I always shot at the lead goose and with the long formations I doubt they'd all get by before the pellets got there, I mean maybe my leads were bad but I know my pattern is.
  4. I've heard that in Oregon its happened a not insignificant number of times that someone has killed a Black Bear attacking them using their .380 CCP
  5. Seth Rogen at least might be slightly better than hills. amy schumer is as bad as her uncle/cousin/whatever chuck.
  6. I was thinking of getting the double-ended one from CSS so I could thread my Mini-Monster back on. It liked to spin itself off until I put plumber's tape underneath which by now has probably melted itself in place. That is more of the hard part, I don't look forward to take my brake off alone, not to mention putting it back.
  7. Okay, so I checked my pattern at the range and its truly awful with my secondary hunting ammo [bB Win Super-X] and I doubt my Fiocchi T-Shot groups much better. So it looks like I need a choke. Can I get by with a modified choke or do I need a full? I'm wary of getting a full since I like to shoot slugs at the range and taking the choke on and off repeatedly does not seem like a good time.
  8. i'm in no way excited about el trumpo but hills is going to fuck the constitution so hard i'd vote for a spoiled can of baked beans coated in fermented dog shit over her.
  9. Already said these elsewhere but why the hell not reshare? "I'll buy this as my concealed carry." -a guy who just shot 5 .38sp rounds into the ceiling over the span of 60+ seconds out of a hammerless Ruger SP101. [i hope they added 100 dollars onto the price for 5 range hits]. "I CAN'T SHOOT THESE! THESE BULLETS ARE TOO BIG! I CAN'T SHOOT SUCH BIG BULLETS!" -A rodent-looking bloke in full OD digi-camo army uniform [i REALLY hope it was a stolen valor thing] upon opening boxes of .500mag and .50ae for the two guns he rented.
  10. because drawing ape-like brown or black people would cause the liberal professors to shit blood like a busted fire hydrant.
  11. I can imagine, seeing as my 18in PTR91 already turns a lot of heads when I shoot [not as many as a .270 or 300win mag though].
  12. 1. Of the two major gun rental places I've been to by my house the oddest rental is a Coonan .357 1911. My regular range used to have a Ruger Alaskan, .50 ae Deagle, .500mag, and .460mag but they got tired of people shooting out the fluorescent lights and shooting the arms off the target carriers. I might have to test my Google Fu to find a rental place with odder guns to shoot. I do plan to try .45 Colt out of a Governor tuesday and see what that is like. 2. I guess the same way people drill holes in the mufflers of their Mustangs? Since the vast majority of my time shooting is at an
  13. Its honestly shocking how openly the regime is doing all this yet your average drone on the streets shuffling between their stifled employment to their worthless house to contemplate how their meager savings gather no interest has no idea that their overlord is doing this nor that his actions are the reason mediocrity seems an impossible dream for them.
  14. I think you are over-analyzing. Most short barreled pistols are loud as hell. Wanna get louder? Step up the caliber. A good muzzle-brake can tame it and make it louder. If you can find one for that particular gun. you're not wrong, over-analyzing is probably my default setting. I don't like surprises and/or unknown factors which of course I can never avoid. So as time goes on I gather more and more things I'd like to know before deciding on what to aim towards.
  15. Would .45 Colt be a little less quiet out of something like a Public Defender or Governor?
  16. Yeah, if I wanted to pay as much as I did for my M57 I'd get a drum for my PTR and do a 50 round mag dump at least once.
  17. Loudness isn't the sole criteria I'm going on, but it is something I consider as I do enjoy turning heads at the range. Truth be told no one gives a flying fuck about my Tokarev but I still shoot it x2 to x4 as much as my long guns because I feel like I need to practice with it more as I have a harder time being dead accurate with it than a long gun and that its just fun to shoot. I'd like if people fawned over it like my Saiga but I'm not going to ditch it for that reason.
  18. would an AK74 "pistol" be as loud or at least still pretty noisy as an AR-15 "pistol"?
  19. Novelty as well, I'd think, though with the limited chamberings available that seems unlikely. I also heard most laymen upon looking at a .30 carbine bullet think its a revolver round due to the long, torpedo-like shape of the bullet and casing. The Dunham's by my house has a shit-on of Tula .30 carbine which is what got me thinking of it in the first place. Do they make piston AR pistols? Because the buffer tube hanging out the back reminds me of a NERF gun. I realize the N-Strike toys are meant to resemble real firearms in a lot of ways and so its THEM that resemble an AR pistol but I s
