once in a blue moon my s-12 will jam on the front edge of a shell. (sorry my camra is currently out of order) let me try and describe, at the very beggining of the barrel tube, where the lip on the shells catches to keep smaller shells from going in to far. the shells are snagging on a rough edge where the shell guide and barrel meet. could i possibly grind down where the guide meets barrel and make it smooth or at least less jagged? it would only need about 60 degrees trimmed. would it cause any kind of safty or function draw backs? just thinking out loud, and wondering if any one has overc

just wondering, it looked like on rusmilitary that the rifled slug exstension is for the threads on the outside of the barrel? is this true? has any one tried it? are the chokes for the shot guns (iz-109) compatible with the external threads? if so there goes

was refering to amount of kick and velocty between the 2.75 and 3inch, i usualy only shoot 2.75 slugs, or high velosity shot, and just 3inch non slug ammo. when looking for discount ammo online, seems the 2.75 ammo thats slug, buck, or just high velocity in general; usaly is not much slower "FPS" than any of the 3 inch ammo i have found?????????? could be wrong!! if so please correct me. this is after all my first personal firearm.

i am in no way trying to put a blimish on agp's record, the reason i got there mag over the russian 8, is that every one had nothing but positve feedback on there mag, just sucks it was mine that had to be the problem child!! i do not forsee any problems with returning the mag (already sent e-mail, b/c the phone service was already closed for the day), but i have an unofficial work skeet shoot coming up at the end of the month, and after the last one (sporting dads remington 870, nice gun but was on waiting list for saiga 12 and had been talking the saiga's praises before even possesing one) i

i wasnt aware that there was a diffrence between 2.75 high velocity/high brass, and a normal 3 inch round. and whats the point of 10 rds of 2.75 bird shot? and also why would the mag be made to fit 3 inch shells if incapable of handling them, i think your thinking of the mdarms 20 rd drum???

cobra is right he walked me through problems with my saiga after cleaning/disassembly, fully screw selector in and then put selector in the correct position.

just put in my factory 5 rd mag but it also shook back and forth so tolarance/clearance issue are probbaly not the cause???? or is there more to the stroy

i read an topic just the other week about a guy breaking two apg mags with in less than 20 rnds. i had already ordered mine directly from apg the day before, just got it half an hour ago, loaded it up after giving it the once over, and hand cycling some ronds, upon first insertion noticed some loosness in the mag, went throuh many disattachments and reattchments, all with the bolt held open!! compared to factory 5 rnd mag no obviouse defects, went on ahead and shot two rounds, feed like a dream, loaded up with 8 shots (to break in spring slowly) fired all eight rounds at my target at the edge

as i am waiting on my second saiga to arrive, from its big money make over, i am still left with my bone stock iz-109, and after searching around still have trouble finding places for saiga add ons, or saiga compatable parts. the biggest problem is trying to take parts from diffrent places and put the together in my head, to see what goes together. so this one goes out to the admins, business members, or any on saiga savy (looking for saiga 12) to come up with pictorial catalog of add ons and how they go on a saiga. i think members would pay to have material that told them how add on parts t
