I know the pro-mag counts as 3 and the handguard counts as 1, How many other parts do i need to change to b within the law? Any help will be great Thanx!

  14. When i pull the bolt back to put a round in the chamber ithe bottom of the bolt catches on the first shell. It scrapes the first shell on the way back before it gets behind the shell to strip it from the mag, has anyone had this problem or is that normal? Its my first rifle,LOL!
  15. The following pic is what I mean. However, I did find out later that I only have to file down the raised surface on the left side of the picture (towards the rear on both sides), and file it down, taking off 1/8 of an inch of heighth down toward the floorplate. File that much area until it's flat with the rest of the magazine. I guess I'm saying you want to reduce how far up the ribbing reaches up towards the top of the magazine. You may have to file down the front raised ribbing, but I found out on mine, I didn't have to after all. Also, one more correction. The magazine does NOT hav

  19. Okay, a couple of things to consider: 1) Make sure you buy a US version - not a Russian one - of that non-converted pistol grip and folding stock. The Russian one is not 922R compliant. You can get a US-made version from ACE Ltd. Here's the link: http://riflestocks.com/SaigaAK.htm 2) In order to install the G2 fire control group, you have to move the group forward (in other words, do the mod). The set up in the stock Saiga isn't the same. You could use the hammer from the G2 group and get one 922R part out of it. 3) Are you planning on using Saiga mags or standard AK mags? As far a

  21. I like that pic alot! Where did you get the vented handguard?
  22. Ok i'm very new to this so bare with me for a min. I want tha 30rnd mag an the folding stock with the pistol grip thats all one piece so i dont have to move the trigger forward, and i wanted to change the handguard, piston, hammer, single hook trigger and disconnector. Would that clear me as far as the 922.r ?And if i bought a us made mag would i still need to change the follower and base plate to b able to use the 30rnd mag and be in the clear of the 922.r?
  23. If you use a US made mag what would u need to do to make a 30 rnd US mag work other tha the feed ramp?
