Honestly, if your going to refinish the receiver I would certainly do the whole thing... A little more sandblasting and youll have it.. You have to put the whole thing in the oven anyhow... Even a good paint job from the factory will be far less in quality and durability compared to the molyresin... I used the Grey on an AK of mine and it turned out to my likeing.. The subtle contrast with the black poly stock is cosmeticly pleasing to me.. Have fun.. ```Gary

Very nice execution and a good idea! But, I don't agree with the color, I mean you are going to be in your underwear right? I wonder if I could have one made in black silk with red hearts. Ahh yes.. And I feel the option should definatly be available to the gun toating ladies to have a similar vest made from lace or perhaps something of a fishnet fabric. Look out Laura Croft. ```Gary

I recently used Norrels Moly Resin to refinnish my AK.. It requires a genuine effort to properly apply, however, the results speak for themsleves.. It is also used by Tromix unless I am mistaken..
