Picked this little gem up this afternoon. Dude wanted $500, but I traded him 5 G23 mags, a 29 rd scherer, and .357sig conversion barrel and $380, I couldn't be happier. Gotta go shoot it tomorrow.

When I was doing my final walk through, I saw a big liberty gun safe in the basement. She agreed to sell me the gun safe and rding lawn mower with cart for $400. Seems like a decnt deal. I've already got a lawnmower, but a buddy needs ones, so i'll just sell it to him.

The lady's husband passed back in June, and there's a big ass fireproof gunsafe in the nasement that i'm trying to get her to sell. I've been shopping around for several years, attempted to buy a couple of houses, and finally had one go through. I've got a big ass basement garage with enough room for 3 cars and plenty of gun tinkering. I'm pretty excited, going to be getting away from some of the nonsense in the city, hopefully be able to start saving some money. I'll get some pictures shortly.

Double stack sub-compact .45's are really too wide for me to carry comforably. That's why I think the XDs is so perfect.

I found a two tone XDs locally on armslist, waiting for the seller to get back in touch with me. I hope we can work something out.

You can make that work without removing the trunnion, but its a big pain in the ass. My buddy did one by drilling all the holes in a regular pistol trunnion, took several months of tinkering.

I talked to the detective today, i'll be able to get my pistol back next week. It'll be just under a year that they kept it, over 2 years that i've owned it, and about 6 months that i've actually had it in my possession. Woot!

I make a habit of ( and get a good laugh from) offering assholes at gun shows a reasonable price for what they're selling. Some of the exchanges i've haf would blow your mind.
