Here are some round pouches that really fit: AK 100rd drum pouch ( a 75rd won't fit). Drum must be in position shown Side pocket has room for extra shells Closure is snug at first but will break-in like a pair of jeans. Another pouch that works is the Lewis drum pouch and is my preference. Mike has stated in the past that clear and smoke covers are just as strong as black. Also your idea about peek-a-boo holes in the black cover sounds good in theory but in reality it would allow dirt to enter. Also the holes would weaken the cover to some extent. Personally I don't like the look of smoke or clear either. Also, black would make you feel like Dirty Harry... Did I use 20 rounds or only 19? Do you feel lucky, punk?

Tony, I need your opinion on this. I asked MAA if the Tapco rail kit would fit your Tromix handguard and they said it would. I'm skeptical of this answer because the Tapco rail kit is made to fit a Tapco handguard which is rounded along the bottom whereas the Tromix handguard is flat.

Tony, Please let us kow when the rail kit for the handguard becomes available.

I'm wondering about pouch for this drum. Are there any milsurp drum pouches that will fit it (AK47 75 rd, 100 rd, etc)? If not, I guess I'll just have to have the wife stitch one up for me.
