I ordered a Renegadebuck adapter a couple weeks ago and finally got it installed... I knew that this adapter was built with the saiga .223 in mind for form and fit, but I needed to fit it to my SLR-106fr... well...it freakin' works like a champ. Solid construction, tight fit and runs like a raped ape with AR mags! Some people will crack on me for modifying a high-end AK like the 106, but hey...it's my gun and I love it!!! THANKS to RENEGADEBUCK!!!!!! FINE WORK!!!!

Hey guys.. First post here.. Been lurking for a while though. I think I'm going to go with the Surefire quad rail for my setup... I want to use an angled foregrip on it, however. I'm not sure if the bottom rail on the Surefire quad rail goes back far enough to adequately use an AFG. I would maybe also possible want to mount a bipod at some point. Does anyone have any experience with AFG on the Surefire quad rail? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am looking into putting a bullet guide on my Saiga .223 so that I can hopefully get cheaper magazines. My problem is that I am not doing a conversion to more of a traditional AK on my rifle. I am looking for more of the low profile Dragunov look.. so I don't want a big ol 30 round mag hanging out.. Just seems like it would look goofy. Does anyone know there are many 10-15 round AK 47 mags for a decent price for a .223? Or should I just deal with a 30 round or stick with Saiga specific mags? I've done a little bit of searching and haven't found any that aren't more

I finished my Mutt. There's alot of nice looking 223's in this section, but not to many that I would call truely decked out different. I don't know what started this project but I felt the need to build and wanted something a little twisted, a little freeky. Tastefull, yet different. Kyber pass looking, but not crude looking. The only thing I had in 223 was my Daewoo K2 so that caliber played on me. I found parts that were just cool looking and ideas started flowing. My mind changed several time throughout the process and always ended up with me placing another order for different

Maybe it's a silly question but I'm about to order some parts from Dinzag and want to make sure it will all work out... will the bolt-on handguard retainer from Dinzag fit an older 223 with the heavier barrel (0.631"/16mm)? I'd like to make a full conversion... I'm going to wait on the gas tube for able-to-pay-bills reasons, but I can handle the rest right here and now. Thanks in advance everyone - this is my first post on the forum, but I've been lurking around here for well over a year contemplating my first rifle, which I had long-since chosen to be a Saiga 223. I finally got one a coup

Does anybody have a list going of what parts on a Saiga .223 are interchangeable with on regular AK-47 pattern rifles or ak-74s or even other caliber saigas for that matter. My main question is where can I find a new spring loaded firing pin for my Saiga .223? The ak-74 ones look similar in some ways and appear to be spring loaded as well. but I don't have any solid data or measurements. Not sure what other .223 AKs have interchangeable parts to saiga either. If you have anything to add that is confirmed, I'd like to make a list If we can. Thanks!
