I've had time to reflect on good advice I found here. The Fury 1 upgrade is essentially in maintenance mode now, and is shown in the pic with a Bulgarian AK-74 (No-Dak Spud) for reference and size comparison. It weighs about 9.5 pounds by my guess. I should go weigh it, but I was already used to carrying an M-60 back in the day. I've tried many loads and it is rock solid with all the slug or buck I can find moving faster than 1250 fps. I did adjust the set on the TAC-47 a bit for more consistent performance with a magazine of mixed manufacturer's ammunition. That was about 1/2 turn in (ri

I was just finishing up my conversion I bought the CSS conversion kit, I bought a Hogue grip for my S12 and I cannot for the life of me get it on. I have taken off the trigger guard and just tried to attach the pistol grip to it, nothing works. The pistol grip lug on the trigger guard does not line up with the screw. Has anyone had this problem, any help is appreciated. The second picture is where the screw is supposed to line up, and it is not lining up.

I just received two of the small versions of the AR forearms to go onto a 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 and as always the service was outstanding. Anyways when I installed them on both weapons the clamp that goes around the barrels does not clamp down tightly over either barrel. The forearm is pretty stout and seems nice and sturdy but there is a small amount of play at the barrel clamp, I'm wondering if this is normal and the way they are designed. I just wanna make sure that I didn't get the wrong size by mistake. It seems that as long as the back of the forearm stays put and does not work it'
