doug01 3
Thanks guys! Has anyone used the Silver Bear brand Ammo? Doug Edited May 8, 2006 by doug01
ironhead7544 35
Ive used the 140 gr Silver Bear soft point. Its accurate. it also throws a huge flash in a 16 inch barrel. Havent killed anything with it yet so dont know how well the bullet works. Magnet doesnt stick to it so I guess its some other alloy.
O.S.O.K. 0
Doug, I would go with the AIM South African surplus - I don't have this, but have heard nothing but good about it. I think it was made by Pretroia Metal Pressings (PMP) and is good stuff. Nothing wrong with the Brown Bear or Wolf, just that the SA stuff is a little better and at $3.72/box ($26 for 140 round battle pack).
doug01 3
Well I did get 2 SA battle packs for just under $27. May get more. I did find some for like $23.95 but gone of course and they had to many back orders to more orders. That place may get more in. I did get 1000 of Silver bear for $161.45 shipped.
