Unknown Poster 5
I seen the saiga sporter in 308 with synthetic stock missing from their website so i emailed them to ask why? They emailed me back saying the saiga sporter is not on the import list. So that means we will no longer see any 16" and 22" barreled saiga's in 308 with the black synthetic stocks imported here. There gonzo!!!! So the only 308 saiga's we will have are the 308 saiga wood stock and the model 100 in 308 thats it once your local dealer sells out of the 308 sporters. Its very sad news because i think the saiga sporter 16" barrel in 308 is one of the best ones they have to offer. I wonder why its no longer imported here?

O.S.O.K. 0
so, its just the evil black poly stock... the rifles will still be imported with wood stocks... I can think of worse things that could happen! Heck - I'm replacing my butstock with a K-VAR stock anyway and I could have just as easily purchased a nice Ironwood Designs buttstock and pg to match a wood handguard. 44rdv4rk 0
imho, the wood stocks look better anyway. i bought a synthetic, but only because it was cheap and available (just like i like 'em) and it's not even wearing its plastic anymore. no big loss.
Mudsock 0
Some black ones left here at a good price: http://www.onpointsupply.com/cart.php?targ...substring=saiga Edited May 10, 2006 by Mudsock
Unknown Poster 5
They only have the synthetic stock with the 22" barrels left in 308, the 16" barreled 308's are out of stock already. I have a gut feeling the wood stock 308 is going to go the same route too once it sells out too.

Freightman 0
I almost went crazy and sold my 16" the other day, but changed my mind I will just save up for what I want.
KySoldier 2
Gilbert's still had the 308s in both lengths in stock when I was last there.
