doug01 3
I know that anything is possible but here is the question. Is there (or can there be) a barrel extesion that can be threaded to take either Mossberg, Remington ect. chokes? I haven't dug deep into the 12g section cause I don't have one but I've heard mention about barrel extentions. If they are there, and they could be fitted with the choke tubes I think we could have a one gun do it all in the Saiga.
topmaul 42
I had a gunsmith tap my barrel for Win-chokes, A good gunsmith can put internal threads in your barrel no problem it cost me $75.
doug01 3
What is the scoop on barrel extensions? Doug
pedal2alloy 206
What is the scoop on barrel extensions? Doug If you have the factory externally threaded barrel, Tony at Tromix can make you an adaptor that will screw on there and have internal threads for chokes. If you have an unthreaded barrel, then you can get the barrel internally threaded for chokes. You can buy all kinds of chokes - flush fitting or extended, or even have one made that is extended with a flash hider.
inparidel 4
All this is good inf. . .BUT if the person asking does not have enough barrel to have 18.25 inches left AFTER mods, then this is NOT good inf.

doug01 3
Thanks, The external threaded barrel is what I was refering to. And if tony can do that then an S12 will be the answer. Cool! Doug
