BUFF_dragon 3
just bought a 223 today at a gun show, got 4 30round mags with it, as well as the plastic 10 rounder that was the factory in box.... problem is that the 30's won't latch in, and once I have filed one of them to latch in, it won't load, it just jams the bullet into the bottom of the barrel...... if I were to 'ramp' the end of the barrel, it would be fine, but I dont have the tools to do so, and I'm not sure if that would be a safe thing to do can someone help me out, I can take pics if needed.... thanx in advance

I think they'd kinda frown on me bring the rifle into the store.... LOL
craig110 0
Since this topic comes up so often, how about if someone adds a sticky topic that has a large-mag FAQ?
BUFF_dragon 3
that'd be awesome if someone stickied it.....

dinzag 31
Hey BUFF, send me an email to dinzzag@yahoo.com if you decide to not do it yourself. The new flat trunnion and round trunnion guides are shipping out to the secret testers. I will offer them up for sale barring any serious snafu's. Also there's a link in my signature line with some downloads you can read up on. There's a link in the Tech Section to Sheikyerbouti's conversion tutorial. He outlines the mag mods as well - in more detail.
