MD_Willington 11
Okay, I know this is the question everyone loathes... MD's a tard.. or other nasty name here etcetera etcetera... Alrighty... I am in the process of getting my .223 from Gunboy69... Now I got to thinking (yes dangerous stuff, especially on a Friday afternoon)... If I can scrounge up the $$$$ in a few months saving I'd like to possibly get the Galil M16 mag adaptor installed... that way I don't have to play with magazines. So here's the 'rithmetic. G2 Trigger group = 3 parts USA Made NATO stock = 1 part USA SAW grip = 1 part 1 USA M-16 magazine = 3 parts That's 3+1+1+3... running that through MatLab i get 8 compliance parts Now does that keep me in the gold star book with the BATFE... I apologize for the post.. but different configurations can make things confusing... Edited March 30, 2007 by MD_Willington
ArcFault 4
Yes. You are good at the TG and buttstock. Far as I know the mag adapter doesnt count against. Just don't add any listed foriegn parts.
Bad Bob 0
Far as I know the mag adapter doesnt count against... Even if it did, he should be at least +1 - you only need 6 'compliance parts' (as I understand things, and I am NOT a lawyer), even with a threaded muzzle, which was not mentioned... ;>)
jgillaspy 24
Remember guys, 922® compliance is all about subtraction; that is having 10 or less evil (imported) parts on the weapon. Reduce the count to 10 or less and add all you want, but keep the parts "Made In America"!
