The only problem I see with it is the rod used to pull the trigger is probably too short because of how far back the trigger on a saiga is. I think this would make one awesome saiga 12. inparidel 4 Posted September 8, 2004 Report Share Posted September 8, 2004 Actually, ifyou were to do the bullpup thing, you wouldn't leave the trigger in the rearward sporter position. You would move it back to where it belongs, so that wouldn't be the problem issue. But I suspect that other problems with the barrel size would emerge. Maybe with no solution, or maybe with one. I can't say. I am toying with the idea of putting the standard AK-101 black forend and a jury-rigged FSB in front of, or on top of the gas block on mine--like the Saiga 12 SWAT. It takes some creative modifications to the forend, and a retainer, but it's not impossible. Perhaps the bullpup presents similar, but not insurmountable problems.
