DaGroaner 2
Interesting story: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18237342/?GT1=9246 She had to balance on her walker as she pulled out a snub-nosed .38-caliber handgun. "I didn't even think twice. I just went and did it," she said. "If they'd even dared come close to me, they'd be 6 feet under by now."
AegisDei 2
She's my hero! I bet she bakes a mean dish of cookies and can shoot to boot. What a gal!!! They just don't make 'em like they used to.
jmarshallp 0
Thanks US PRIDE, This is a great example of what should be the norm in our society. If trained, law-abiding folk could be trusted with effective self-defense options then a psycho would have to think twice about any public display of hostility. It would certainly be a deterrant against the "lambs to the wolves" scenario we just witnessed.

KySoldier 2
Scrap metal theft has become a real problem in eastern Kentucky. People have been gutting homes under construction, cell phone towers, heat pumps, ACs, rail road parts. One guy stole a transformer off a pole, opened it up, poured the chemical on the ground and then tracked it home. He was caught and had to pay for the damage plus decontamination of everything. A guy last week tried to steal a power line, his girlfriend was interviewed explaining it since he died in the process.
nycGUNguy 61
Suprisingly, the news channels here in New York are just eating this story up but their attitude is that this is a joking matter.
