Montana3gunner 13
With the rear sight on the dust cover, has anyone had trouble maintaining zero? Mounted a Williams peep sight on my S-308 dustcover. Shot 50 rounds, removed dustcover, shot 50 rounds. No significant change in zero. Not much I know, that's all I've got to contribute.. texlurch 0
My S308 with HK sight on the DC has maintained zero so far, within the accuracy that I can shoot at 50-100 yds. I have had it off and on at least a dozen times. I did make sure that is was as tight as I could make it to start, by pinching in the sides and rear to remove all the slop. It is very snug to remove and reinstall.
getitat 609
Anybody on the list offer a service to weld the sights on a dustcover if it were shipped to them? I hate to think about shipping a whole gun somewhere if it's not really necessary... The front sight difficult to attach to an IZ-109? guido2 in Houston
