mavrick16o 6
ok, i gave this one some time before posting. ive been through 200 rds+ of slugs to get a feel for where my saiga would be hitting down range! ive been shooting open sights all my life from bb gun all the way up with no problems. but for some reason my saiga 12, if aimming at the bulls eye will, every time hit to the left and a little high, range is about 20 yards, so not like im at the long range finals, but wouldnt excpect to have to compansate 6in right and 2-3 inchs down for every slug, i know a shot gun can hit anything with the right load, but consistantly hitting off target like that seems odd???? any suggestions, or similar problems? How does it shoot birdshot/buckshot? Is it in the same place roughly or does it pattern around the bullseye?

ironhead7544 35
What model do you have? If its the pistol type fixed sights then you can set the windage by tapping the rear sight in the dovetail. Tap it to the right slightly to move the bullet strike to the right. Go slow and testfire. mavrick16o 6
thanks upon closer inspection saw the rear sight can be adjusted, with the proper amount of force. (i.e. a hammer and a punch) also noticed alignment marks on gun and sight to be off centered.
hourglassing 0
thanks upon closer inspection saw the rear sight can be adjusted, with the proper amount of force. (i.e. a hammer and a punch) also noticed alignment marks on gun and sight to be off centered. Mine were so off that no reasonable amount of knocking the back sight over would correct it. I finally mounted a cheap red dot on an aftermarket side mount.
