Why no love for the .410?

Just ordered a .410 and have been looking for add ons and am having a hard time finding much. Will anything that fits a s-12 fit a s-410?(Aside from anything to do with the barrel like chokes and mags)? I know its not the most powerful of the 3 offered by Saiga but Im kinda a little dude so I went with the smaller of the three.

 

I'd like to get some chokes and hi-cap mags.

Think it's the bigger is better factor. Few members do custom mods. Mags are few and far between. Have a converted 410 in my collection. Got a couple 10rdrs from fellow member who was selling out. welcome aboard.

Welcome to the under rated saiga shotgun club. I personally love mine except for the price of ammo for it. 10 rounders are very rare and hard to find right now although http://www.rusmilitary.com says that they are available in mid January and MD Arms has some stuff in the works for the near future. You can get choke kits from a new online store at http://www.saigastock.com . You can also buy 3, 4 rounders for $47.00+$6.00 S&H at http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayi...itemnum=8353825 then plastic weld 2 4rounders together and get either 8 rounds or 9 rounds like the one I did. Hope that helps you out some.

Think ill wait on some chokes.

.410 is just as underrated as the .22lr!

I've seen some really big animals go down with .22lr. I've nailed an impala or two with a .22lr pistol (norinco copy of the MkII) as well.

My first firearm was a Stevens .22lr over .410. I used that thing all over the farm. I loved it. As soon as the Saiga .223 is done, I'm going shotgun shopping. The 410 might just be it.

The lack of love is because there are only 4rd mags for it, the ammo costs twice what 12ga costs, and the gas system makes the gun look non-AKish.

The .410 is underrated. It has the same loadings and velocity as a 12ga. with little recoil, but at 1/3 the shot count. If a 20rd drum ever becomes available S-.410's will sell out quick!
