Rustynuts 3
Which FCG group should I get for my S-12? I know nothing of AK's. Can I use ANY FCG made for AK's, or does it have to be Saiga specific? What's this single/double hook I see on FCG's?
lammy 1
Which FCG group should I get for my S-12? I know nothing of AK's. (That's what you need to use anyway) If you are in the US, make sure you get a US made group. Single hook/ Double hook means 1, or 2 hooks that hold the hammer. If you look at the receiver of your Saiga where the trigger comes out, you will see a small cutout for the single hook that holds the hammer. Some people alter their receivers for double hook, some are made for it. I go with what's already there. I'll be doing a conversion soon and went with a G2 signle hook from DPH arms. nalioth 405
Any advantage to a double hook? Depends on which trigger zealot you ask. In a civilian rifle, no actual advantage exists.
Azrial 1,091
Any advantage to a double hook? By careful cutting of the second slot you can make the second hook an over travel adjustment.
