s2324 0
Hello, I will try to post the picture of my Saiga 12 built by Tromix. Well here goes nothing.... By the way it appears to be very stout and fits the rest of the Saiga 12 very well as you can see. Thanks, Scott

Hey Bob do you think Tony or yourself for that matter could thinkup a way to mount a SPAS-12 top folder to a S-12, would take a little bit of work on both the Saiga and the stock I understand... but could it be done ? BobAsh 582
I'm certain that it could be done. Tony won't do it though, he no longer does one-off work, he's just too busy with conversions.

jrance@iacwds.com 716
If you really have a burr under your saddle to have it done that way, check with Will at Red Stick. He took on a special project for me. 1911
Twinsen 86
The way it's done on the SPAS would mean you'd want to do it to an unconverted saiga now that I think about it. Probably just buy a real SPAS-12 stock and see if it fits folded. I have a fake SPAS and a real Saiga, I guess I could check if there's clearance.

Spas-12 parts are as scarce as hen's teeth. Took me years to find a push button safety. I think you'd need to come up with a custom adapter to mount the stock high for the hinge. The next problem would be how it would affect the sight picture. You'd be too high up for the stock sights and the HK sights would get in the way. I'm not saying it would be impossible, it'd just take some thought.
Twinsen 86
Yeah, that dust cover sits high. And I can also attest to how difficult it would be to get SPAS parts. I tried to get ahold of a $45 heat guard, never happened.
StealthyBlagga 4
Have you ever fired a SPAS12 with the top-folder stock ? If you had done so, you would definitely NOT want to put one on your S12. The SPAS12 top folder is a real POS... very uncomfortable and painful to shoot with. Back in the day when I had a SPAS12, I was mightly glad to shitcan the factory stock and replace it with a wooden solid stock. With the many many AK stocks available, the SPAS12 folder would be about my last choice.
