SaltPeter 6
I've never seen something like this for only $1500 or so before. It doesn't say who built it. I wish I could see one in person to see if it's put together well or not. Taking one of these to the range sure would be cool, though. patriot 7,197
Go to 191A4.com. There is more info there on that gun than you will find anywhere else. Be sure you read the posting on HEADSPACING. 30 Brownings are unlike anything else you have fired. You MUST know how to properly headspace the gun to the ammo you are using or you could end up eating parts of the gun. The site is down at the moment, their lease ran out. I'd give it a couple of days and it'l be back up.
Juggernaut 11,054
I was lookin at them as well, Think it would dress up the old print shop!
banshee 69
A Full-auto 1919 is a hoot, but a semi-auto just doesn't get it. I believe the novelty would wear off pretty fast. They are heavy, awkward to carry around and shoot.
BobAsh 582
Semi-auto belt-fed machine gun? No thanks.
SaltPeter 6
Yeah but some of us aren't into the hassle of going NFA.
BobAsh 582
It's not the hassle, it's the expense. But at least you can bump-fire a rifle! Just seems like a heavy, expensive conversation piece.

TonyRumore 1,332
That tripod is probably $500 of the cost there. I have an Ohio Rapid Fire semi-auto 1919, that I converted to open bolt full auto operation. The thing is a beast with an 8" barrel on it firing 8mm ammo. I never fired it in semi-auto before I "worked it over" though. Personally, if you must have a belt fed semi, I would buy an RPD instead. The RPD is only 15 pounds and can be easily shoulder fired with the belt housed in the 100rd ammo carrier under the gun. Tony
Juggernaut 11,054
anyone know if anyone has got something like that that's non opp. Just something to look cool in the corner of my shop? (perhaps a bit cheaper?)
