cheapest I can make one

OK, Maybe I'm the miss fit here, but I bought my Saiga because it didn't look like a "war" rifle. But it would do the same job as one. A "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing"

But I do want to use High cap mags...........or have them available for use, and know they work correctly. What do you advise to keep me compliant without "going to war" with it?

Ok, So the gas piston is the only way to keep the manufacturer config on it and use sure fire or master molder mags (US made)

As far as tapco stocks go I found that K-var is the way to go. They have the Nato length buttstocks which are better for us larger folks with the storage unit button. At the moment they've got a sale on buttstock and pistol grips in this size.
