gunboy69 50
Unless I screwed something up, the UTG rail for the SKS needs some fitting when installed on a YUGO. I had to Dremel out the bottom, but you can make it fit. Just a heads up. Also, you have to be careful of how tight you crank the allen heads down. This thing clamps around the gas tube and the barrel. It squeezes them together, and will jam up the piston. I got it all installed,(with the allens cranked down tight)and took it out to shoot. I got one shot off and that was it. It looked like the bolt was closed, but the operating rod was sticking out, not allowing the bolt to completely seat. At first I thought the gas setting was switched to grenades, but you couldn't budge it. So I tossed it back in the truck and figured it out after I got home. I just loosened the allens enough to work the gas setting and loc-tited those babies in place. Works good now.
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Thanks for the warning man. That turned out pretty cool. What's the deal with that barrel shroud / FH? I like that!
