Typically, you can not locate the parcel in their system until like a day after you receive it. Just a little flaw in an otherwise very efficient system... -BTW, I don't know if anybody has ever tried to make an insurance claim for a USPS item, but it works a lot worse than their "tracking service" does. It's a product that is extremely easy to purchase on the front end, but virtually worthless when you try to make a claim on the back end. The hoops you have to jump through to validate the value, condition, etc. of the lost item pretty much make the "insurance" worthless. JMHO.... guido2 in Houston HMMM, I'd like a tracking # also.
