iteachsurfing 50
I wonder how many of those guys would be in line waiting for their Tromix? I agree ... All of them!!! IMHO Tromix is right up there with all those guys who Successfully took their great ideas & ran with them. Tony could do like wise. His philosophy's about quality are very similar. I would love to see him grow & succeed in the same way. To the benefit of himself & all of us. Giving us all a chance to own shotgun that even Mikhail Kalashnikov would be proud of. vspdave 0
I would kick ass if Tromix got some more help though. There are still craftsman out there, Tony just needs to find them. I had to go to Krebs to get my converted S12 which is typical perfection that you expect from them....but, I would really love to get a Tromix peice
BobAsh 582
Remember guys, as popular as the Saiga is on this board, it's still a small market. Sure, there are a lot of orders now but how long will the market be able to sustain them? It's easy to grow a business too big for it's revenue. Also, need I remind you of the uncertain political climate. From Colt to Kalashnilov, those are all gun manufacturers. Tony is a craftsman doing top-quality hand work. His waiting list isn't that long comparable to other guys in his league; even a Sparks holster takes 6-8 months to get. How long does it take to get an IPSC race gun from the #1 builder these days? Franky 2
Tony is an "Artist" and craftsman. Not a gun manufacturer. And I don't think he only works on Saigas. Love your work man. FMJ.
jrance@iacwds.com 716
Current Wait Time at Bob Marvel Guns (he does custom bullseye 1911's) is 10 months. A few years ago I understand it was 18 - 24 months. Things change.
BobAsh 582
Things change. Exactly. If Tony were to set up his business for the current demand, it could really bite him in the ass.

aubie515 2
C'mon folks...Tony just hired Melissa not too long ago and that has given him more time to work on our weapons. I feel bad everytime I call to find out the status of my S12. I have been very impressed with my dealings with Melissa and Tony thus far. Lets just praise the man and allow him to work on our toys. That being said, c'mon Tony get to my shotgun already, before I add more changes to my shotgun.

Sub contract for US receivers, bolts & Barrells Train & liscence addl. talented craftsmen under his supervision & QC. Theres a lot of talented folks out there. Tromix Firearms ... born & bread in the USA - It could be nice.

Then and now is two TOTAL different things. When you take the craftsman or the designer, THE GUY WHOS NAME IS ON IT out of the equation and put relatives or idiots in who are only worried about proffits and not products, things go south quickly. Bill Ruger is dead and quality has suffered. Same with all of the others who are out of the picture.
