Joeddox 1
I just got a Poly Choke II for my saiga 12. How do I adjust it? Not much help in the form of a manual came with it... Do I need to be using a wrench? I don't want to break it! Edited April 11, 2008 by Joeddox
MCASgt New River 10,036
Just twist it like a nut, eventually if your going the right way it will come off. It will be still tight but nothing unbearable.
BradCowin 0
I had to use channel lock pliers and a small towel to get mine to budge.
Joeddox 1
Looks like I'm going to need to get a rubber wrench this thing won't budge.
kellysguy 1
There's no reason it shouldn't turn. Don't screw it up. Make sure the choke is tight to the gun and shoot it a few times. It should loosen up. (only use the supplied wrench to tighten choke to gun, hand tighten or loosen the choke adjustment).
kellysguy 1
Make sure you are going counter clockwise with the barrel end of the choke facing you. Make sure the gun is unloaded before doing this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joeddox 1
So I should be pointing the gun at myself like going to shoot myself then turn counter clockwise?
hobbyshooter 59
So I should be pointing the gun at myself like going to shoot myself then turn counter clockwise? yeeeahhhh. I point my gun straight up and twist the end of the poly choke just like any standard thread. Right tight, left loose. I don't think I've ever pointed the barrel straight at my face. lol
