22_Shooter 1,560 Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 By looking at Tapco's site, it gives the lengths of each one. One is 5.125", and the other is 6.25". Bust out the measuring tape, get the length of your Saiga piston, and buy accordingly. I'm sure someone just knows, and could just tell you, but I honestly don't know. nalioth 405 Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 Okay guys. There is negligible difference between an AKM and AK74 piston. You can use either one in your Saiga. The short one is for the AMD65 and will not work in a standard AKM/AK74/Saiga. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
