What length Tapco piston do I use to replace the stock one on a Saiga 7.62x39 for compliance?

Yeah id like to know this as well. I heard its an AK-74 piston? Anyone?

I am quite positive someone here has the answer...

By looking at Tapco's site, it gives the lengths of each one. One is 5.125", and the other is 6.25".

Bust out the measuring tape, get the length of your Saiga piston, and buy accordingly. I'm sure someone just knows, and could just tell you, but I honestly don't know. Measuring would be a safe bet though.

Okay guys.

There is negligible difference between an AKM and AK74 piston. You can use either one in your Saiga.

The short one is for the AMD65 and will not work in a standard AKM/AK74/Saiga.
