campiscampy@yahoo.com 0
Are there different sizes of Pg nuts? I used cross conn, I cut the PG hole Perfect honestly. But The nut I pulled off one of my old wasr's doesn't fit, its the same pg nut I'm seeing to order online, at least where i'm looking, (its actually tapco) its a normal slanted pg nut, Is it because he uses a saw grip, or is he just wrong, (it looks like a normal ak grip in the convert pictures)
SirROFL 13
Are you using a stock adapter? I had issues fitting the PG nut after getting my ACE adapter in.

talkcombloc 0
To answer your question, yes some grip nuts are slightly different sizes. I've seen everything from a blob with a threaded hole to a nicely cut block. If there is some play when you put the nut in, it should tighten up against the back of the trigger guard. quinci956 1
When I ordered mine, I order a pg nut for an AK-74. It was smaller and dropped right in without any alteration. On my first conversion I even used the aluminum sleeve screw things (stupid looking an an AK) and had clearance for the front one to pass over the nut without any problem. I was getting them from K-Var but that was in the early days and I don't know if they still offer them.
terrace_mountain 0
Is your nut too small, or too big? If it's the latter, go to work with a file on your receiver, but check for fit often.
