Recommended Posts

Hello all, new guy here.

I am going to try to covert my .223 Saiga and I was wondering if this is everything that I will need?

When I get more money I will do the forend and install a bullet guide for the high cap mags, but for now I am just doing the PG.

Also I was wondering if this is compliant?(does not say U.S. made)

Thanks for any info.

Looks good to me. You'll be down to 10 foreign parts, and be compliant with that list, with any kind of mags.

Being that it's only an adapter to let you use muzzle brakes, 922r doesn't apply to it. The muzzle brake you choose will, however, apply to 922r. So get a US made one. Or, if you're set on a foreign made brake for some reason, you'll need to swap out 1 more part.

Thanks Shooter, I will go with a US made FH for sure.

I got one more question though.

Does anyone know anything about this mag?

I am hoping that it is a a Surefire mag but DPH does not list the mfg.

edit to add:has any one tried one of these?does it lock in the closed position?

It would be nice to have a left side folding stock.

Thanks.

Mike.

Mike,

Yes it locks in the closed postiion. As for the muzzle brake, wait until next week. We are getting the production run of the muzzle brakes and flash hiders that do not require threads.

Thanks Scott, just what I wanted to hear about the stock as I the ordered the stock kit and conversion parts yesterday.:)

I guess I should have checked here before I ordered so I could have waited for the muzzle brakes, oh well I guess I will just have to order one later.

Thanks.

Mike
