vujade 0
ok...it will eventually go down again to the mid $3 level. But it will go up again. It seems like it goes up very quickly, goes down slowly but never to the same levels - rinse and repeat. In the end, we'll be paying $7, $8, $9, etc. per gallon gas - maybe not this year but one of these years nonetheless. What is the breaking point? What do will we start to see - looting? riots? is this the catalyst for when SHTF? I mean, if you are working making $6 an hour or paycheck to paycheck - eventually the credit cards max out and you still have to eat. Or to be hopeful, will this be a catalyst for something else - maybe someone invents some "easy button" to get 50+ mpg and it's implimented quickly to save the day. Maybe we just stop driving, get out bikes out and finally get in shape.
elvis christ 451
I honestly believe it will be the catalyst for civil unrest. Maybe not over the gas itself, but when the cost of energy hinders the availability of other necessities, you can be certain that there will be some sort of trouble.
