Jonathan 0
Does it actually reduce recoil?
S-12inWV 1
OOORAH! Devil Dog!! Now about the question... I do feel a slight diff in Recoil between my S-12 with the Shark Brake and the other that has an OEM Full Choke Screwed on.... It may me more about the choke but there is a differnece to me... I think I've heard others say they feel or have recorded no difference... May depend on the shooter and how it's shouldered also. I say yes...but just slightly.... Noice...Yes, noticible loude..... waltham_41 52
No difference noticed in recoil personally, but jab and twist baby, jab and twist
patriot 7,197
It's great for holding potatoes when mashing them. Picking them up after mashing is a bit of a problem though....
152dbs 0
mine isnt a tromix, but looks damn near close to it. it has to reduce it, even if by the smallest amount b/c the gills are angled backwards.
HarvKY 72
If you look thru the threads and/or Tony's website........ he stated what they felt was the % of recoil reduction Also, I remember he or Bob noting that attachments with slots "front to back" are considered flash suppressors, and slots runing "side to side" are considered recoil reducers. Cheers, HarvKY
Jonathan 0
OORAH S12inWV!! Thanks for the responses, I guess Ill still get it, if anything it looks badass!
BobAsh 582
We don't sell it as a recoil reducer, but "most" shooters report a recoil reduction. Get some devil dog.
BearCreek 0
I will say that I did feel a reduction in felt recoil. Being my first shotgun, my S-12 was a little surprising in the recoil, After getting the Shark Break I just keep pulling the trigger instead of taking a break between mags. Though I like the badassness of is looks... I am still waiting for Cameron's Porcupine that will fit with the Shark Break  Edited October 5, 2008 by BearCreek
