sudaevpps43 31
For those who want one of Tony's SBS'ed Saiga 12s but have no patience for waiting, there are a couple of Tromix short barreled shotguns on Gunbroker right now. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=113869708 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=113792712 The first one looks like one of Tony's rare 12 inch conversions. spicoli 12
I have a 12" SBS from Tony. I think it is the perfect length. With the Limbsaver, I dont even know its a 12 gauge.

ernestmayhand 10
Good to know I could probably get a pretty penny for mine if ever the need arises. (Doubt it will though.) There should be a Tromix owners club.
joelrod47 373
My TROMIX guns will all be for sale when, and if, my widow ever decides to sell them........... (but I wouldn't hold your breath on that one............)

martinz 0
I bid $1750 for one of the Tromix Saiga's on gunbroker.com but didn't come close to meeting the $2450 reserve. It is a beautiful gun but woul dhave preferred if it had night sights on it. $2450 seems pretty high for a #S17-Tromix Saiga 12ga. with one 5 round mag when the price listed on the Tromix site is $1735. Am I just not fully appreciating the $715 instant gratification fee in getting a S12 SBS now versus waiting months to have one built up by one of the Saiga conversion specialists? Now if Obama gets in a gun laws start changing in 6 or 12 months then........well lets not go there unless we have to. Thoughts?
BobAsh 582
Am I just not fully appreciating the $715 instant gratification fee in getting a S12 SBS now versus waiting months to have one built up by one of the Saiga conversion specialists? $700 is a significant amount for some guys, much less so for others. Don't forget that Tony is now booked until 2011. Edited October 28, 2008 by BobAsh
sudaevpps43 31
If the seller keeps relisting that S17 every few months or so (which is probably what they plan to do), I think they will eventually sell it, even with the $2450 minimum. Like Bob said, it will be 2011 before Tony is able to even take new orders, and there are people who will be willing to pay the premium in order to get an S17 before then.
