chuvak 9
I picked up 13 boxes of Norinco .308 for $3/ea at a garage sale. Copper-plated bullet and casing, 147 gr. FMJ, '93 production. Boxes say berdan primed/steel case/lead core/non-corrosive. I'm wondering especially about that last claim, but anything printed on a box must be true, right? Anyone know of any issues with this stuff that I should be aware of?
csspecs 1,987
Figure its corrosive (they marked ammo that even when it was not some times)... Other than that I don't see any issues.
evildog 20
Go back and see if they have anymore or other calibers they want to unload. Nice score.
chuvak 9
Yeah, I cleaned him out of everything he had. Figured even if it was corrosive it was worth more than that. Thanks for the tip csspecs: a little extra cleaning never hurt anyway, right?
